Top 5 Dance Games on iOS in Africa Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the dance games category on iOS in Africa showcased interesting trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Just Dance Now from Ubisoft maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue, starting at $148 and ending with a peak of $186 at the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 364 in mid-August before gradually tapering off to 244 by the end of the quarter. Active users started at 460, saw a mid-quarter peak of 561 in August, and closed the quarter at 397.

For Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop by Coco Play, the revenue was negligible after an initial $18 in early July. Downloads varied, peaking at 193 in early September before decreasing to 95 by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 307, peaking at 315 in the first week of September, and ending at 233.

Ice Skating Ballerina, another title from Coco Play, experienced modest revenue with a notable increase to $64 in the last week of September. Downloads were relatively low, with a slight peak of 76 in early August. Active users started at 165 and showed a declining trend, ending the quarter at 76.

Hip Hop Battle - Girls vs Boys saw a steady increase in revenue, starting at $39 and ending at $47. Downloads were minimal, peaking at 25 in early September.

Finally, Acrobat Star Show also by Coco Play, had an initial revenue spike of $80 in early July, which then stabilized at around $2 to $3 for the remainder of the quarter. Downloads varied, reaching a peak of 28 in late August before dropping to zero at the end of September. Active users decreased from 391 at the start of the quarter to 261 by the end.
